How ARISE Network Functions?
The ARISE network is situated in the city of Pune in the state of Maharashtra and acts as a data coordination centre and is responsible to coordinate with all the members of the network across India as well as globally.
The ARISE network will form a foundation for the collaboration of doctors across India and globally to carry out scientifically sound research studies. The ARISE network is a platform which offers scientific and logistic support to all our investigator members to undertake their research ideas with the help and support of the network and its members.Our team at ARISE, are a group of experts with years of experience in the areas of protocol development, data collection data management and data analysis.

The lung is an important organ that nourishes the body with oxygen, generates 90% of the body’s energy. On a daily basis, each one of us inhales 10,000 lts of air, which the lung extracts 1000 lts of Oxygen and transfers it to the haemoglobin present in the circulating red blood cells. -
The growing burden of Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CRD’s) across the globe has contributed to immense suffering and death as well as huge economic loss. According to the latest Global Burden of Disease Report, India alone has over 68 million cases of asthma and COPD and an additional number of other chronic respiratory diseases.
